Welcome to Crystal Mountain Ranch

HOME OF THE ICONIC CRYSTAL MILL
Welcome to Crystal Mountain Ranch! Here you will find the ghost town of Crystal City and the legendary Crystal Mill!

The iconic Crystal Mill is one of the most photographed spots in the state of Colorado because of its rustic beauty and perilous perch on a rock ledge over the Crystal River. Located on the river just west of the historic town of Crystal, the Mill has stood for more than a century.

At our ranch, you will find endless outdoor adventures. Hike to Lake Geneva or the Lead King Loop. Fish native cutthroat trout or brook trout out of the Crystal River. Spend the evening under the magnificent starry skies after exploring the Crystal Valley.

At the end of your day, you will be welcomed with warm hospitality at one of our rustic cabins or glamping tents.

Some of Our Accommodations

Stanford Cabin

Known as The Cinnamon Roll House, this sweet cabin is located on the banks of the beautiful Crystal River. The surrounding meadow makes this a great place to see black bear, moose, deer, and other wildlife. It's one of our larger cabins that sleeps six guests in three queen size beds – one downstairs and two upstairs. This luxury 1800s cabin has a full bathroom with hot running water, refrigerator, cooking stove, and wood burning stove.

Glamping

Drink your morning coffee by the Crystal River in one of our new glamping tents that sleeps two guests in one queen size bed. This canvas tent sits on a platform that was built with wood from the saw mill on the property. Cozy up in the tent by the wood burning stove. Other amenities include a gas grill, propane cooking stove, and outhouse. A shared bathhouse behind the Rosetta Cabin is available for guests to use.

Clayton Cabin

With only the glow of lanterns at night, this quaint original 1800s cabin is located in the heart of Crystal. The two-story cabin sleeps four guests in two queen size beds – one downstairs and one upstairs. It has a refrigerator, cooking stove, wood burning stove, cold running water, and an outhouse behind the cabin.
